Coral Review (May 2026)
The popular UK high street bookies brand has entered the online casino world!Coral started in 1926 as a bookmaker and in 2026 reached its 100-year anniversary. There aren’t many brands that last the duration, and Coral has since launched online poker and live bingo to go alongside its casino and sports betting. My Coral review examines all of the key features and player experiences, which I’ve tested first-hand.

How CasinoHawks Reviewed Coral
For all of our reviews here at CasinoHawks, we use the same process. This is a 6-step methodology that allows us to test key areas of a platform, allocating scores to each step. Check out our ‘How we rate casinos’ section for full details. In the meantime, here are the steps in action for this Coral review:
- I reviewed Coral’s licensing, safety and trustworthiness
- I analysed the bonus terms and promos at Coral
- I checked Coral’s payment methods for smoothness and reliability
- I analysed the Coral game selection and usability
- I tested the Coral customer support
- I judged the popularity of Coral and checked UK player testimonials

Coral Licensing, Safety and Trustworthiness
Coral is operated by LC International Limited, which is part of the well-known casino and sports betting brand, Entain. Coral has a UKGC license (account number 54743), which I verified on the UKGC registry.
Coral is also a member of the GBGA (Gibraltar Betting and Gaming Association) and has a gambling license with the Government of Gibraltar (010 & 012).
AGE RISK WARNING:
18+ only. The Gambling Act of 2005 makes it illegal for under-18s in the UK to gamble. This covers all types of gambling, including online. The UKGC ensures that all laws relating to the Act are enforced. Licensed operators must verify the ID and ages of players before they can gamble. Anyone under 18 must be refused entry.
Responsible Gambling at Coral
Coral has a detailed safer gambling portal where players can get access to tools. The collection offers a deposit limit, time out/cool off, self-exclusion, self-assessment, budget calculator, deposit time limit, loss limit and max stake limit. There are tips and guidance on how to play responsibly and links to external support agencies. AI software is also used to detect potential negative behaviours.
Coral sets a mandatory daily deposit limit for all players, which is active across all the Entain brands. This is £2,500 if you are 25-79 or £1,250 if you are under 18 or over 80.
ADDICTION RISK WARNING
Gambling can lead to harm, and this may happen to anyone. So it’s important to keep a check on how gambling makes you feel. Here are some common warning signs:
-Feeling anxious when you cannot gamble
-Borrowing money for gambling
-Hiding your gambling from your loved ones
If you are experiencing any of these signs or feel you need some help, we urge you to reach out immediately. This could be to any of the UK’s free support organisations:
GamCare 0808 8020 133
GAMSTOP – Nationwide self-exclusion blocking service
My Rating of Coral’s Trust & Safety
Here’s where I’ve put the foundations to the test:
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Licences | 5/5 | During my review, there was an active UKGC license. |
| Brand Credibility & Ownership Trust | 5/5 | Coral has been active since 1926 and launched its online casino in 2011. It is part of Entain, which is a recognised brand that operates popular UK platforms such as Ladbrokes and William Hill. |
| Security Measures & Data Protection | 4/5 | Coral states that it uses firewalled data centres (Norton Secured), 128-bit SSL, TLSv1.2 encryption, and is ISO27001:2013 certified. Visa and Mastercard payments are compliant with ‘Verified by Visa’ and SecureCode 2FA protections. 2FA isn’t available for account logins though, and there is a GDPR policy. |
| Responsible Gambling Tools | 10/10 | A full range of limits with AI detection, budget calculators, self-assessment and mandatory deposit limits across all the Entain brands. |
Coral has a strong commitment to safer gambling, with a wide variety of tools
It would have been top marks if 2FA were supported and the SSL levels were 256-bit.
Coral Bonus Terms and Promos
Offers are valid for UK players aged 18+ only. Full terms and conditions apply to all of the bonuses and promos below. Please review these on the Coral site before claiming.
Let’s see what offers and bonuses I discovered for UK players during my Coral review. I’ll also be analysing the small print to check for the real value, as well as putting the wagering requirements to the test.
BONUS RISK WARNING
To claim the 100 wager-free spins, you will need to make a first deposit of at least £10 and wager this on selected games. The 100 free spins are available on a range of games. Please check these on the Coral site. Any winnings from the free spins are not subject to wagering requirements and paid in cash.
Free spins are worth £0.10 each and expire after 7 days. Deposits made using Neteller, Skrill, PayPal, certain debit cards, and PaySafeCards are not eligible.
Please note that there is a significant risk you will lose money whilst trying to clear this deal. Full terms and conditions apply to this offer, and we advise you to review these on the Coral site before you claim.
Coral Welcome Bonus

New players in the UK can get a welcome offer of 100 free spins by depositing £10 and wagering £10 on selected slots. Free spins are worth 10p each and can be used on a range of eligible games. Winnings are paid in real money without wagering requirements.
Coral Free Spins for Existing Players
The ‘Coral Rewards Grabber’ is available each day. Prizes can include free spins for existing players, cash, extra Coral loyalty coins, and win boosts up to 10x.

Coral Coins
Players can collect these for taking part in casino tournaments, the rewards grabber, and they can be exchanged in the Coin Store. This can be for free spins and bonuses on bingo, live casino and slots, as well as cash and sports bets.
Coral Smart Rewards

These are daily challenges which you can choose from slots, bingo or live casino games. For example, wager £20 on slots and get 10 free spins. As you complete the challenges, you can also collect tickets for the monthly cash prize draw.
More Coral Promotions and Tournaments
At the time of my review, Coral had a variety of free-to-play and coin-to-play tournaments. These are leaderboard contests that offer cash prizes according to the terms and conditions.
Coral also hosts the Pragmatic Play ‘Drops & Wins’ tourneys with prizes up to 100,000x multipliers and free spins.
There are also loads more deals for bingo, live casino and poker players too:
- Live casino Rewards Cards
- Bingo Smart Rewards
- Weekly free bingo session
- Poker Dollars
- Up to 20% weekly cashback on poker
Terms and conditions apply to all of these promos. Please make sure to check them before claiming anything.

My Rating of Coral’s Bonus Terms & Promotions
How did Coral stack up?
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Bonus Terms and Conditions | 5/5 | I found these to be straightforward and fair. |
| Wagering Requirements | 5/5 | At the time of my Coral review, wagering requirements varied depending on the bonus. These can be zero, 1x or up to a max of 10x. |
| Ongoing Promotions | 4/5 | There’s a lot for all types of players to claim (bingo, poker, casino, etc.), and in my opinion, promos offer good value. There are loyalty incentives, tournaments, and daily offers. That said, I would like to see some bonus deposit match reloads. |
In my opinion, there are weekly and monthly promos with good value and fair wagering requirements!
Coral just missed out on a full house, as I feel that some regular bonus and free spins reloads would be welcome.
Payment Methods & Account Fairness at Coral
There’s an impressive variety of payment methods, with popular choices including PayPal and Apple Pay. You can also deposit and withdraw your online casino funds in any of the Coral high street shops. It’s great to see that Coral supports faster withdrawals via ‘Visa Fast Funds’. This could mean that once your payout is approved, it may be in your bank within a few hours.

FINANCIAL RISK WARNING
Gambling carries a significant risk to your finances, and most players lose over time. This is why gambling should not be viewed as an investment, but for entertainment purposes only. We advise you to only gamble with the money you can afford to lose and set strict limits before you play. All casinos operate with a house edge, which gives them a mathematical advantage.
Here’s My Guide on How To Withdraw From Coral
- Click on your profile, then choose ‘Cashier’ and ‘Withdraw’
- Select the method
- Input the amount
- Click ‘Confirm’
Other Important Information for Your Withdrawals
The minimum withdrawal amount can range from £5 to £10, depending on the payment method.
Documents and Information You’ll Need To Share With Coral
To verify your account, you will need to upload or email the following documents to Coral:
- Photo ID: Driving license, passport or ID card

My Rating of Coral’s Payment & Account Fairness
Time to get the lowdown on the payment processes and rules!
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum Withdrawal and Deposit | 4/5 | The minimum required amounts for both are £5. |
| Accepted Payment Methods | 5/5 | The full range is available, including instant banking. |
| Account Rules and Player Rights | 1/5 | If you don’t use your Coral account within 13 consecutive months, then Coral will attempt to send any outstanding balance back to your last payment method. If this fails, then a £3 monthly fee will be deducted from your balance. There is also a max win restriction of £250K for all casino products, including bingo, but excluding progressive jackpot wins. |
| Withdrawal Speed and Processing Times | 4/5 | Coral supports instant banking and Visa Fast Funds for quicker payouts. The general internal processing time is up to 24 hours. |
Coral has many payment methods, but take care with those inactivity fees
The maximum win amount may be off-putting for some of you.
Coral Game Library & Usability
My Coral review revealed 6,000+ games with a host of slots, live casino tables, Slingo, jackpots and RNG tables.
CASINO GAMES WARNING
Before you start to play, please consider:
Casino games are ‘games of chance’, and playing results in most users losing money over time
All casinos operate using a house edge that gives a weighted advantage
Gambling isn’t a way to make money, only play with what you can afford to lose
Games have their own rules, RTP and can contribute differently towards wagering – please check these details
Only play at casinos which have an active UKGC license to ensure fair gaming
Did I Find Any Exclusive Games?
Yes! There are more than 140 exclusives, which include plenty of Coral’s own branded slots and live casino tables. I got to try out the Coral Big Bass Hold and Spinner and Coral Roulette Pro. The platform also features exclusive jackpots totalling around £4 million. These may interest those of you looking for large prize pools.

Slots at Coral
With around 5,000 slots, there’s lots of choice. Whether you are a new player or more experienced. I found plenty of new titles, such as Happy Dragon and Lucky’s Wild Pub 2. There are also categories for Megaways fans and more than 60 Coral exclusive slots. These give players primary access to games before they’re widely released.
The jackpot collection features the progressive ranges of Age of the Gods and Jackpot King. As well as daily jackpots, Rapid Fire and Jackpot Blitz titles.

Coral Live Dealer Tables

Clicking on the ‘Live Casino’ vertical opens up an interactive ‘Live Lounge’ where you can listen to realistic live casino sounds. You may also access live casino table stats from this screen. I found hundreds of tables with a great variety of classics (roulette, poker, blackjack & baccarat) and variants of these, such as Gold Vault Roulette and Live Blackjack QuickSeat. The lobby allows for quick access to see the betting ranges and available seats at tables.

Game Shows at Coral
I found around 30 live game shows with a decent spread of older and newer titles. These are supplied mostly by Pragmatic Play Live and Evolution and include Sweet Bonanza Live and Crazy Time.
Other Types of Games You Can Play At Coral
- Slingo
- RNG tables
- Live poker
- Live bingo
- Jackpots
- Keno
- Plinko
- Scratchcards

Popular Game Providers at Coral
Coral has a diverse variety of software developers, and all of the popular names are present, as well as some more niche studios such as Peter & Sons.
My Coral Mobile Experience
I tested all the mobile aspects for this Coral review. These include Android and iOS dedicated apps as well as direct access with any device via a mobile browser. I didn’t encounter any issues, but the apps gave a quicker login experience and felt more polished.
My Rating of Coral’s Games Library & Usability
Here’s where I evaluate the game’s mobile experience and overall platform usability.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Games Library and Navigation | 8/10 | 6,000+ games is a large number when compared to many UK casinos these days. No genre is overlooked, there’s lots of choice and many exclusive and own-brand titles. Better filtering options, such as RTP, theme, and volatility would make for a simpler navigational experience. |
| Software Providers and Game Integrity | 5/5 | Coral offers games from a wide range of providers from trusted brands. |
| Site Navigation & Design | 2/2.5 | There’s a lot going on with the betting and casino verticals, but things don’t feel cluttered and my UX was smooth. I think the platform could use a little modernisation; at the moment, things feel very traditional. |
| Mobile Experience | 2.5/2.5 | Top marks for the 2 apps and standard mobile site. |
Coral has plenty of games and developers to choose from, and 2 mobile apps!
With some modernisation and better lobby filtering, it could have been full marks here.
Coral Customer Support
I was pleased to see a range of options and a freephone helpline is not something I see at UK casinos these days. My interactions with this and the live chat were positive. Responses were informative and helpful. I sent a handful of emails, and after 5 days, these still haven’t been responded to. Not great at all, but your experiences may vary.
| Contact: | Average Answer Time | |
|---|---|---|
| Telephone | 0800 2797917 (freephone) 24/7 | Instant |
| [email protected] | Not known | |
| Live chat | Yes – only available once logged in | Instant or up to a few seconds |
| Coral | Few mins | |
| X | @Coral | Few mins |
| YouTube | @CORAL_UK | N/A |
Languages: English.
Help Centre: Yes, this covers a huge range of FAQ’s with videos to further guide players.
Other resources: The help centre has guides on how to play games. There’s also a sports betting news page and loads of game reviews. The social media accounts are regularly updated with news, promo info, new games, etc.
My Rating of Coral’s Customer Support
Ready to see the scores?
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Opening an Account | 2/2 | This was a quick process, which I completed in a few steps. |
| Availability & Response Time | 0.5/2 | This is a difficult one, as my live chat and phone responses were super quick during my review. Coral failed to respond to my emails, however. |
| Contact Options | 2/2 | There’s phone, live chat, email, Facebook and X messaging service. |
| Clear Contact Options | 2/2 | I found these easy to locate |
| Help Centre & Self-Service Options | 1/2 | The help centre is detailed, and there are lots of guides and videos. A search function was missing, which would speed up the process. Also, key info such as max withdrawal limits and minimum deposit and withdrawal amounts is missing. |
I expected more from such a big name as Coral
Had my emails been answered more sharpish then a better overall score could have been achieved.
Popularity & User Testimonials
I found a real mixed bag of reviews on Reddit, with negatives relating to players not understanding the bonus terms correctly. Positives talk about the range of rewards and games.
Over on Trustpilot, Coral had an overall score of 1.1 (3,340 reviews), with 91% of ratings being 1 star. The majority of players comment on bonuses not being credited correctly, slow platform, games lagging and poor customer service.
The Trustpilot score cannot be overlooked
I’m giving a low mark as most players mention the same recurring issues, which can damage overall trust. Please play safely, do your own checks and always remember that no casino is risk-free.
Coral – Did It Live up to Expectations?
In my opinion, Coral has a lot to offer UK players with a broad range of promos, strong safer gambling commitment, lots of games, bingo, poker and the backing of a well-known operator. If you are going to give it a try, then bear in mind the points raised in my review and play responsibly.
