Parimatch Licensing, Safety and Trustworthiness

I located the ownership and gambling license details at the footer of the Parimatch site. The operator is BV Gaming Limited, who are registered in Gibraltar. Parimatch has gambling licenses issued by the UKGC (account number 39576) and the Government of Gibraltar (licences 001 and 014).

Parimatch is also part of the Gibraltar Betting and Gaming Association and the International Betting Integrity Association.

Parimatch has a separate site for its safer gambling tools and advice. Here I found a self-assessment questionnaire, useful tips and links to external UK help organisations. As well as the following:

The payment methods are limited to just debit cards and 2 eWallets. You may use bank transfers for withdrawals too. Parimatch states that it aims to process your withdrawal quickly, but this may take up to 24 hours. That’s an average timeframe for many UKGC casinos these days.

How does Parimatch stack up when it comes to fairness and payment processes?

Parimatch Game Library & Usability 

The Parimatch games portfolio is home to 3,000+ titles. These are spread across slots, RNG tables, scratchcards, Slingo, jackpots and live dealer games. Parimatch states that it uses eCOGRA for games testing. However, be sure to review the testing reports and take these into consideration when assessing fairness. 

Exclusive Games and Branded Tables 

Parimatch has 2 own-brand RNG tables and 2 live casino games. The genres for these are blackjack, baccarat and roulette, and you won’t find them at any other casino. I also noticed a handful of exclusive slots, including Roman Glory, JokerFiesta and Fish Tales Monster Bass 10,000. Again, these are games that aren’t available anywhere else!

Slots at Parimatch

I found that the slots selection includes a wide range of different titles with filters that can be used for theme and volatility level. I spotted plenty of new games with the likes of Punk Rocker 3 and Age of the Dogs. But there are lots of classics to try, including Big Bass Bonanza and Book of Dead. 

Parimatch Live Dealer Selection

The live casino is where you’ll find hundreds of tables with plenty of choice for blackjack, roulette, and baccarat. The lobby has a helpful feature where you can see the betting range, available seats and active players. Most of the Evolution live games are available, so I got to play a few rounds on Lightning Roulette and Infinite Blackjack. VIP tables are lacking, though. As far as poker sites go though, the strength and variation of games isn’t that great.

There are around 40 gameshows and the collection included some titles I hadn’t heard of. So kudos to Parimatch for offering some different stuff. I got to wager on Power UP Roulette and Majestic Wheelshow. I spotted some new game shows too, with Sticky Bandits Roulette Live and the Dead or Alive Saloon for some wild west themed action.

My analysis showed that a hefty chunk of slots are provided by Pragmatic Play and Hacksaw Gaming. Though you will still get access to a decent portion from developers such as Play’n Go, NetEnt and Nolimit City. The live tables are mostly supplied by Evolution and Playtech.

Parimatch Mobile Experience 

Parimatch offers apps for Android and iOS devices available from the official online stores. The platform is also accessible via a mobile browser, for other devices. My testing showed smooth loading and there were simple menus to use.

The Parimatch support is available on a 24/7 basis. My testing revealed that the chat isn’t instant, and you will need to get past a bot by answering a series of automated questions. After this, my average response time for a human connection was a few mins.

Help Centre: Yes, there are detailed FAQ articles with a search function. At the time of my Parimatch review, these were weighted heavily on sports with 90 articles to 22 on casino games.

Popularity & User Testimonials 

The majority of reviews from players are on Reddit and Trustpilot, though it’s important to bear in mind that many of these are from players in India. Even the UK Trustpilot site has many of these, relating to payment issues linked to financial institutions in India and not the UK. 

The UK TP site had a 3.7 overall rating at the time of my review, with users commenting on the quality of support and choice of games. There are 69% of 5-star reviews and 24% of 1-star reviews. The negatives relate to misunderstood KYC processes and the comments relating to ‘scam’ games. Parimatch has to adhere to strict fair gaming standards determined by its UKGC license. 

Parimatch: Does It Offer UK Casino Fans Enough?

Parimatch has been around for donkey’s years as a sports betting brand and in my opinion it’s still focusing on this vertical. Sure, there are plenty of quality games for UK players, but in my opinion the lack of regular promotions might be a drawback for some of you.

There are way more for sports punters. There’s also a lack of payment methods, and the max win restriction could be a hindrance to some of you.
