Burnout Mode

The first feature is Burnout Mode, which is activated upon landing the Nitro Symbol. It activates a sequence of Nudges, Wilds, and position multipliers. The feature drops five wild symbols onto the existing reels. If these wilds replace paying symbols, they can increase the chances of creating higher-value winning combinations. 

It also adds three position multipliers, with values from 2x to 5x. When the wild symbols and multipliers combine to form a winning combination, they can significantly boost the payout within the same base game spin.

Nudge System

The Nudge system activates after all initial wins from the spin have been paid. During a Nudge, all symbols move down by one row, and new symbols drop into the empty spaces. The key part is that Wild symbols and Position Multipliers are sticky, meaning they stay locked in their original positions and keep their multiplier values, while regular symbols and Wild Nitro symbols move with the reels.

After each Nudge, any new winning combinations are checked and paid before the next Nudge takes place. If a new Nitro symbol lands during a Nudge, it can add at least one extra Nudge to the Nitrous Bar, along with adding up to three extra Wilds and up to three Multipliers on the grid.

If a new Multiplier lands on a position that already has a Position Multiplier, their values combine and add together. However, if the Nitrous Bar is already full, landing another Nitro symbol will not provide additional Nudges. The feature continues until the Nitrous Bar runs out.

Seoul Bonus

The Seoul Bonus is the starting point of the bonus structure. Landing 3 Free Spins symbols activates 8 free spins. During the bonus round, all features, including Nudges and paylines, work the same as the base game. However, higher Free Spin triggers increase the chances of landing Nitro symbols, creating more opportunities for boosted wins.

Tokyo Bonus

Overall, we think this is a very good game. It has an iconic theme, polished presentation, and features that help it stand out. That said, the mechanics are a touch more involved than your average slot, so it’s worth getting to grips with how the features work before you dive in.
