We feel that with Joker Gems, Elk Studios wanted to offer a slot with the potential of becoming a classic, something reminiscent of Starburst slot.
While there is indeed potential for big wins and even for sizeable jackpots, we do feel that they could have done better with regard to features.
The blank spots on the grid can get a bit annoying if you ask us, and we never managed to trigger Joker Gems’ Light Chaser feature.
Yet it’s interesting to come across a game that offers a combination of cluster pays, respins and fixed jackpots, and this makes Joker Gems slot one of a kind.
If you loved the graphics and cluster pays mechanism, you will also like Quickpin’s Northern Sky slot, which we found to have a better hit frequency.
