Irish Crown symbols and payouts

The low-paying symbols are, you guessed it, the playing cards 10, J, Q, K and A in a Celtic style. They pay out between 0.2x and 2x your bet. The high-value symbols aren’t more imaginative. There are the blue, yellow and red circular gems, and the green square gem pays out the most. When three or more of these line up on one of the 20 paylines, you get payouts from 0.5x to 20x your bet.

Well, to be sure, in our Irish Crown review, we found a rainbow, and at the end of it, a few nice features were waiting for us. They include a pretty Celtic knot that acts as the wild and substitutes for all paying symbols but not the scatter or the bonus symbol.

Free spins

The shamrock is the scatter that lands on reels two, three and four. When three of those four-leaf clovers hit the reels, the free spins bonus launches. You get 10 extra goes, and a lucky little fella arrives.

The leprechaun can land on reel five during your free spins. He turns symbols, starting with the lowest in value going up to the A, into crowns. You can get more spins when scatters hit again. One shamrock gets you two spins, two lead to five more spins, and three retrigger the feature with 10 spins.

Big Money 

The Big Money cash prizes are shown next to the reels. The prize amounts depend on your bet size, ranging from 1x to 40x.  The number you see next to the cash reward is how many crowns will trigger it. Three to nine of those golden crowns can appear anywhere on the reels and give you an instant cash payout.

When 10 crowns land, the Big Money Bonus triggers. The crowns stay locked in place, and the hold and win respins start. New crowns land and stay. The respins end when no new crowns appear or the reels are full of crowns. The number of crowns is totted up, and you get a payout of 50x, 75x, 100x, 150x or 200x your bet. If the screen is full of crowns, a super reel appears. It gives out rewards of 250x, 500x, 1,000x, 2,000x or 5,000x your bet.

Mystery symbol

The game logo, Irish Crown, is the mystery symbol. It can land on the reels on its own or in clusters. The mystery symbols burst to reveal a paying symbol or a crown, and they’re always the same.
