Satsumo’s Revenge slot features
Satsumo’s Revenge is a 5×3 video slot with 25 fixed paylines which you may play whilst listening to a relaxing Oriental piece of music in the background. The reels feature the traditional 10 to Ace playing card symbols, and animated fruit symbols that tend to reveal their own individual personality! These symbols include cherries, limes, blueberries, strawberries and satsumas, with this latter one being the highest paying one, awarding 40x the stake for 5 in a line. There’s also a dragon wild symbol which substitutes for all symbols bar the scatter.
The reels in Satsumo’s Regenge also feature a Shuriken wild symbol, which only emerges on the fifth reel. When it does, this triggers the shuriken Wilds feature. During this feature, the grandmaster, who you’ll see standing to the right of the reels, will throw up to 3 Shuriken wilds onto the reels to make them fully wild. If you get 2 Shuriken wilds, this may cause 2 reels to become wild or also increase the multiplier for one of the reels to 2x. Getting 3 Shuriken wilds will result in 3 wild reels, with one reel containing a 2x multiplier and another one with a 3x multiplier.
Satsumo’s Revenge Fighting Free Games
Satsumo’s Revenge comes with an interesting bonus game for those players who manage to land the berry fighter scatter symbol on both reels 1 and 5. Once you activate this feature, you will get to choose your fighter, and play rounds of the popular Rock, Papers and Scissors game with your opponent. This game begins with 5 lives per contestant and may lead to the below rewards:
- Winning one round will reward you with 1 free spin and a sticky wild symbol
- If you get a draw, you’ll be rewarded with 1 free spin
- If you lose a round, this will result in losing a life
This bonus game will end once one of the fighters loses all 5 lives. If your opponent loses all his lives, you’ll be rewarded with another free spin before the game ends.

Where to play Satsumos Revenge slot
Satsumo’s Revenge min/max bets, RTP, volatility and jackpot
You may now give Satsumo’s Revenge a go by betting from 25p up to a maximum of £500 per spin. The game unfortunately has an RTP of just 96.03% and may be considered as a slot of medium volatility. We did find that the hit frequency wasn’t as great as we initially expected, and it was rather hard to trigger the Fighting Free Game bonus, where you might expect the maximum reward of 1,000x your stake.
Satsumos Revenge graphics and sound
In terms of design, in Satsumo’s Revenge Playtech have done a good job of creating an attractive dojo setting and of conveying the Oriental theme in a light-hearted manner. The fighting fruit symbols add an element of fun thanks to their cute personalities, and it’s nice to watch the grandmaster throw his Shuriken onto the reels to transform them into wilds and spice up the game. There’s also a nice short video, featuring the main protagonists of the game getting ready to fight! The Oriental music in the background is soothing and creates a nice ambience, which makes Satsumo’s Revenge an attractive and relaxing slot to play.
Satsumo’s Revenge – our Conclusion
It’s interesting to see how Playtech have blended the traditional fruity symbols with an Oriental setting in Satsumo’s Revenge. The game’s graphics as well as the gameplay make for an entertaining slot with a couple of rewarding features. We would have liked to trigger the bonus game to reap bigger rewards, but unfortunately we didn’t manage after several spins, so we cannot really relate our first-hand experience with this feature. If you like the martial arts theme and would like to play a similar slot with a feminine twist, we would also recommend trying out Sakura Fortune slot by Quickspin. And now, why not try your own luck on Satsumo’s Revenge and other Playtech slots? Don’t forget to grab a bonus from our casino bonus list to help you get further and enjoy!
