Thief

Thief review

Futuristic and apocalyptic slots don’t come around too often so we were quite happy to discover the Thief slot from NetEnt released back in 2013. With incredibly detailed graphics of modern, state-of-the-art weapons and a cute female cat thief, the game sets the mood of danger and thrilling adventure. Today we’ll check the game’s features and winning possibilities and see which slot websites are offering this game in their portfolios and ready to give you a nice casino welcome bonus as well.

Thief slot features

Thief slot is set on 5 reels, 3 rows and 25 paylines with lower paying symbols represented by your typical card values of 10, J, Q K and A. The higher-value symbols here are quite impressive though. You will see all the advanced tools from the futuristic burglar kit – grappling hook gun, high-tech watch, gadget light, an explosive device and some headgear – all looking very sophisticated and expensive.

The diamond symbol is the target that is given if the cat thief completes her burglar missions.

The most important feature in the base game is Expanding wilds.

The original Wild symbol shows our main heroine as she tries to climb up on the rope. This wild can expand to fill an entire reel, but these Expanding Wilds can only land on the three middle reels – second, third and fourth. It is even possible to have three expanding wilds on all three middle reels, which can result in pretty impressive winning amounts.

Thief slot Free Spins

There are two different ways to activate the Free Spins round in the Thief slot.

You can either land three regular scatters or the mix or blue, and red scatters to receive 10 free spins. These are quite normal free spins, but you still benefit from the Expanding Wild Feature here.

But there is also an Adrenaline Scatter – three of them will also provide you with 10 Free Spins, but this time on the reels you will only see the high-paying symbols with all the card ones gone from the reels. The highest paying diamond symbol will make an appearance to help you win over x150 your bet.

Thief slot min/max bets, jackpot and volatility

You can play Thief slot starting from a minimum bet of 25p and up to a maximum bet of £125. The game’s volatility is between medium and high, and the maximum amount you can win stands at 5,000 coins. It might not make you a millionaire, but it still has a decent return to player rate of 96.7%.

Thief slot graphics and sounds

Gloomy, rainy, apocalyptic future pictured in this game will remind a lot of you of the atmosphere of the cult classic Blade Runner film. The gripping, high-quality soundtrack completes the slightly depressing but at the same time very exciting feeling of the game. Follow our beautiful thief through the dark alleys and your adrenaline will kick in not only because of the graphics but the risky gameplay and dangerous theme as well.
