BeyondPlay Gets UK License

BeyondPlay, a developer of online gambling engagement software, is the latest company to be granted a license by the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) to supply its services to operators in the British market.

As BeyondPlay puts it, the UKGC license will allow it to offer its “community-oriented products that transform solo game sessions into captivating multiplayer entertainment experiences.”

“This stamp of approval marks a momentous occasion, as BeyondPlay will introduce new and thrilling gaming experiences, offering unparalleled entertainment value and community play for real-money gaming operators in Great Britain,” CEO and founder Karolina Pelc adds.

A Company Formed with LeoVegas Investment

BeyondPlay was founded in 2020 by Karolina Pelc, a former executive at LeoVegas. The LeoVegas connection goes deeper, as the online casino operator owned a 25% stake in the company – one it sold to venture capital firm Bettor Capital for €1.9 million back in February 2023.

Earlier in 2022 BeyondPlay obtained a B2B Critical Supply License from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), and is currently in the process of getting licenses in Ontario, Sweden and multiple US jurisdictions. In addition, it counts on big names such as Casumo, ComeOn Group, Soft2Bet and, of course, LeoVegas, as clients.
