The planning for Safer Gambling Week 2022 — which is expected to run from the 17th of October until the 23rd of October this year — is already in full force.
The Safer Gaming Week was created to raise awareness about the topic of responsible gambling, as well as encourage safer gambling among UK players by introducing them to helpful tools and resources.
Working around the clock to promote safe gambling
Most new casino are doing their best to ensure that players are kept safe while playing on their sites at all times, providing them with aid such as deposit limit tools, time-out tools, and relevant resources to sites where players who suspect they might have a gambling problem can turn to.
Positive Social Media impressions
Last year’s Safer Gambling Week saw a high level of Social Media engagement, where Safer Gaming Week messages had a staggering 24,5 million impressions online.
This was a 16% increase in comparison to the previous year. Now, the Betting and Gaming Council (BACTA) is hoping to make this year’s event even more engaging and educational.
