X Factor betting – bet on the X Factor winner this 2018!
The X Factor has really kicked off with a bang this September: What with Louis Tomlinson and Robbie Williams on the judging panel, a new Golden X 'feature' in the six chair challenge, and many more surprises that are yet to come, fans of the X Factor will be looking forward to the weekend with great suspense! And those of you who are already trying to predict who the X Factor winner will be this year might even be curious to check out the X factor 2018 odds or even bet on the X Factor winner this year. Let's take a closer look at how to bet on the X Factor winner and where you should place your bet.
How to find X Factor 2018 betting odds
The major betting sites are offering X factor betting odds on two outcomes: the X Factor outright winner and the X factor winning judge. One great thing about X Factor betting odds is that even the favourite to win will have relatively high odds, since the X Factor, like any other TV show, is a very unpredictable event. This definitely makes betting riskier, but if you guess correctly, you will also win much more than you would, say, on a football match. For example, X Factor odds on Anthony Russell (currently the favourite to win) at Ladbrokes are being offered at 6/1. This will give you seven times your stake if you win the bet. So if you’ve got a good hunch about a promising singer, might as well bet on the X factor winner early on for a chance to win a substantial amount.
We’ve had a look at the X factor betting odds at some of our recommended sportsbooks to see what’s on offer. If you’d like to bet on the X factor with any of these sportsbooks, all you need to do is click on our links found on this page, head over to their Sport Category and look for TV/Specials or Novelty in their menu. X Factor 2018 betting tips
X Factor odds will vary from one betting site to another, so it’s always worth checking out which site is offering the best odds for your selection. For example, betting on Anthony Russell to win with Mr Green (at the moment) will be less advantageous than if you bet on the same selection with Betfred and Ladbrokes. You can check this by selecting the X Factor odds for your favourite singer, and filling the bet slip on different betting sites. You will then be able to view the return you will get if you guess correctly, before you place the bet. Of course, one of our betting tips is to go for that betting site that will give you the best profit for the same stake.
Another thing you should be doing if you intend to bet on X Factor winner is to make sure you don’t miss the shows and that you do your research. This may be pretty obvious, but it’s important to stress that you shouldn’t base your prediction on your personal opinion. Look at the judges' reactions, as well as at people’s feedback on social media. This should give you a very clear idea of who is likely to make it before you bet on the X factor winner.
Finally, we recommend betting with a reliable betting site so that you won’t have to worry about withdrawing your money or other security issues. The ones we recommend on this page are all very well-established and licensed sportsbooks, and they’ll also welcome you with a bonus to use on betting!
X Factor news: Who is Anthony Russell?
Anthony Russell is clearly of the favourites to win the X Factor 2018 at the moment, despite the fact that last year he dropped out of the contest for personal reasons, apparently related to his health. Reportedly, this singer was taking drugs to help him through the show last year, and for the past year he has been mentored and looked after by judge Louis Tomlinson, who had grown incredibly fond of him. Last year, Anthony made such a good impression that he made it to the Judges’ Houses, and he’s already got loads of fans to back him up. Will he make it through this year? We believe he’s got a good chance!
Important update (16/9/2018): Shan currently tops the list as X factor favourite!
Following the sixth round of the X factor auditions, the 25-year old session singer Shan has made such a great impact with Never Enough that currenlty most online betting sites are ranking her as the favourite to win the X factor 2018! X factor winner odds for Shan are currently lower than the ones being offered for Russell. This all goes to show how unpredictable (and exciting) the X factor can be. Shan seems to have great potential for stealing the audience's heart, and it may well be worth betting on her success early on.
What is the Golden X?
The newly introduced Golden X will allow each judge to guarantee one singer a spot in the Judges’ Houses during the Six Chair Challenge. So no matter what happens during this round, the singer will not lose his chair. This will certainly make this challenge less demanding for certain contestants!
