Latest X Factor news: X Factor final date confirmed!

ITV has just confirmed The X Factor final dates for Saturday 1st December and Sunday 2nd December. Saturday's show will run between 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm while Sunday's show will be aired between 7:30 pm and 9 pm. For those of you who are not aware of this yet, Simon Cowell will mentor the Girls, Louis Tomlinson has the Boys, Robbie Williams has the Groups and Ayda Williams the Overs. It seems that this year four acts will make the final, as only 6 contestants are currently left competing.

In the Boys' category, there's Anthony Russell, Brendan Murray and Dalton Harris left, while only Danny Tetley is left in the Overs category.

Only Scarlett Lee is left with Simon Cowell, who was apparently left raging behind the scenes at Bella Penfold's and Shan's (unexpected?) elimination last weekend. In the Groups led by Robbie Williams, it's just up to the duo Acacia and Aaliyah, who bet Shan in the sing-off.

How to find X Factor 2018 betting odds

At this point, it seems that Dalton Harris is by far the favourite to win the X factor 2018, as betting sites are offering quite low odds on this selection. In fact, to spice things up a bit, betting sites are also currently offering X factor betting odds on the winner without taking Dalton into consideration, so you can bet on another singer with less risk of losing your bet! Naturally, because of Dalton as well as the fact that he's managing half of the remaining performers, Louis Tomlinson is the favourite winning manager.

The most popular X Factor markets are the X Factor outright winner and the X factor winning judge. You'll find the odds of these markets at the very top of each betting site's X Factor offering. One great thing about X Factor betting odds is that several selections will have relatively high odds, since the X Factor, like any other TV show, is a very unpredictable event (as Shan's exit last weekend goes to show!). This definitely makes betting riskier, but if you guess correctly, you will also win much more than you would, say, on a football match.

Other less risky X factor betting markets currently include Top Boy and Top Three Finish. The latter in particular is very low risk, especially as it's starting to become very clear who will be the top performing contestants, which means they have a very good chance of placing among the top three. You can find all these odds at Betfred Sport.

X Factor 2018 betting tips

X Factor odds will differ from one betting site to another, so it’s always worth checking out which site is offering the best odds for your selection. For example, betting on Scarlett Lee to win with Betfred (at the moment) will be less advantageous than if you bet on the same selection with Mr Green. You can check this by selecting the X Factor odds for your favourite singer, and filling the bet slip on different betting sites. You will then be able to view the return you will get if you guess correctly, before you place the bet. Of course, one of our betting tips is to go for that betting site that will give you the best profit for the same stake.

Another thing you should be doing if you intend to bet on X Factor winner is to make sure you don’t miss the shows and that you do your research. This may be pretty obvious, but it’s important to stress that you shouldn’t base your prediction on your personal opinion. Look at the judges' reactions, as well as at people’s feedback on social media. This should give you a very clear idea of who is likely to make it before you bet on the X factor winner.

Finally, we recommend betting with a reliable betting site so that you won’t have to worry about withdrawing your money or other security issues. The ones we recommend on this page are all very well-established and licensed sportsbooks, and they’ll also welcome you with a bonus to use on betting!

X Factor 2018 Live Shows open with Misunderstood

The X Factor Live Shows have started in the last weekend of Septemper, and Misunderstood where first up with Chewing Gum, which was an awesome start to the Live Shows! But perhaps Shan still made the greatest impression, which led Robbie to bow after her impressive performance of 'Imagine' by John Lennon. In fact, Shan is still favourite to win the X Factor 2018. The show was closed by Dalton Harris, with his version of the David Bowie's  'Life on Mars'. As Ayda said, "it was the perfect way to close our first show", and his performance has now placed him second favourite to win the X factor 2018!

Who is Shan?

Shan was the favourite to win the X Factor 2018 until her unexpected elimination last weekend. She is a 25-year-old session singer from Croydon who made her first big impression during the X Factor 2018 with her rendition of the The Greatest Showman's hit soundtrack Never Enough. After her very first audition, she topped the list across all online betting sites, making it above Anthony Russel, who was the favourite to win before the auditions started. Odds on Shan are getting lower and lower, so if you'd like to place your bet on her, you should definitely shop around to see which site will offer the biggest profits!

What is the Golden X?

The newly introduced Golden X will allow each judge to guarantee one singer a spot in the Judges’ Houses during the Six Chair Challenge. So no matter what happens during this round, the singer will not lose his chair. This will certainly make this challenge less demanding for certain contestants!
